Hi,

I have a 2007 2720 (new to me). Can someone tell me what the small red indicator lamp on the roof is for?

That's the radio antenna booster. If you don't have a way to disconnect your battery while in storage, it (and other parasitic loads) will slowly drain the battery.

On most TMs, simply pulling the fuse should do the trick.

As Wavery notes, there are a number of parasitic loads in any RV, including TMs. I finally added a battery disconnect switch in the rear bumper compartment, below the battery. I simply pop off the cover of the bumper compartment (yes, if you release the rear hold-down clamps, it will come off even while the TM is folded) and switch it off.
This photo is from my Bill's Tech Stuff album. It shows the switch screwed to the inside wall of the cubby. It also shows my power cord neatly coiled in the cubby, and the sewer hose weights that I use when there is no handy rock at the site.
