Rear Bike Hitch

Can I get a rear hitch mounted on the 2005 2720 to carry bikes or does it have to come from the factory when it was assembled? If I can do this, is it a good idea? Any experiences?

You can easily add a bolt-on receiver if your unit has the square bumper. The newer TM's have a plastic storage compartment and that bumper cannot support a bolt-on receiver. However, those models can accommodate a rear hitch bolted or welded to the TM frame.

Ditto what Dick said. Had a reciever welded to the back of our 06 3023. did bikes but most often a truck box mounted in a wheeless trailer (mesh screen in a flat rectangular box that slid into the reciever. sometime refered to as haul all)
