I've been a member for a year now, we have a 2001, 3023. When I log in and try to post I either can't find a place to start one or if I do find one I get a message that I don't have permission to post. what do I have to do to beable to share and get help on this site.

As you said, you originally joined a year ago, and became a Trial Member. As a Trial Member, you were given 30 days of full and free access to the entire forum. At the end of 30 days, you were given the choice of either dropping your membership back to Guest (limited access) level, or becoming a Site Sponsor. Sponsorship costs $12 a year, and gives you unlimited access to everything. If you don't join, the forum does not hassle you for membership, so a lot of people let their Trial Membership expire without even realizing that they need to upgrade to Sponsor level. That is where you find yourself now.
