Hi!

I pickup my 2004 Trail Manor on Monday at 11am

I'm going to post questions and progress here if that's cool!

Ok, so when checking it out in the beginning, the awning is very sticky when unrolling.

The first 3/4 of it rolls out fine.

The last 1/4 but is kinda sticky (like it hasn't been opened up all the way in a long time)

Other than opening slowly , anything I can spray or put on the thing to open up without ripping anything?

And I have my check lists ready!

Plan is to bring it home about 10 miles and do a shakedown run for about a week.

Any tips are welcomed!

Thanks!

Al

What is the recommended tire pressure ?
Depends, of course, on what tires you have. Most likely they are ST205/75-R14. These are standard trailer tires (ST stands for "special trailer"). The load range is probably load range C (LR-C), which means the max inflation pressure is 50 psi (cold). You should always run them at 50 psi, never less, since they don't have a lot of load-bearing margin.

You can find all the relevant numbers on the sidewall of the tire, and it is worth finding and noting these. The other thing you should find is the date of manufacture of the tires. Age is much more important for trailer tires than appearance. Trailer tires generally should NOT be run until they show wear.

You should browse through the TIRES TIRES TIRES forum to find a lot of discussion on the topic.
