My nephew has a popup and today when he was on shore power, only two light came on for about 10-20 seconds. Then the remaining lights illuminated. No smoke from his converter, the a/c unit works ceiling fan powered up. I'm thinking that this is an indication that his power convertor is going bad? Am I correct or not? It is an old one, so I wouldn't be shocked he needs to replace it. Thanks for any guidance on a NON-TM.

You could be right. What’s his battery look like? The lights would usually work off the battery if the converter was having issues, unless the battery is dead.

Sounds like a faulty connection somewhere. Could be the converter but I doubt it.

I would suggest that he check all of his 12V connections, including the battery and the battery ground to the trailer frame.

There is a plug somewhere (on most pop-ups) that connects the ceiling 12V wiring to the rest of the trailer. Those things are famous for getting corrosion in the connector.
