This is the first time we've ever done this, but we've had so much fun camping in our TM this past year that we are sending one of those letter-sized sheets that describes our adventures and activities over the last year (along with pictures) with our Christmas cards. We put our letter on one side and the pictures on the back.

Have any of you ever done this? We like getting those newsy letters from our friends and family, especially those that we don't see that often. It's taken me a lot of time to type up the letter, get the pictures in place (using Word, what a pain) and now I'm finally printing them out.

Can't wait to get out in the TM again - it really brings our family together, in a wonderful degree of comfort.

There's something so special about just being out on the road all together, as a family (or as a couple, we've had many of those years!) never knowing what the next turn of the road will bring, or the next campground, or the weather, or the next highway... getting through the challenges of the day... enjoying the high points... it's so much different from when you're at work and the kids are at school and each of you have to deal with it separately...

Hi B and D,
Sure, we have done that for the past couple of years, ever since digital cameras made the process so easy. Our letter this year is "front & back", with pictures placed at points within the text, on both sides of the page.

Since you are visitors to Lake Almanor, I'll e-mail you a copy of what we sent to our friends and family this year... and since it has a picture of the wife & I with our grandkids, you'll know who to look for the next time you go to Burger Depot! ;-)
