Hi everyone. My and my wife bought a 2004 2619 back in January and we are just now able to take it out for the first trip. It’s a little colder weather than we hoped for. Needless to say.. my question is

Does the heater have an electric ignitor? Or is it an manual that needs to be lite with a flame to light the pilot?

Thanks,
Happy Trails

The furnace has automatic electric ignition. As long as your source of 12VDC is good, and you have propane in the tank, just advance the thermostat and you will be toasty.

I should note that you will need a campsite with electricity. Otherwise, the fan in the furnace will drain your battery overnight.

The heater has an electric igniter. If the thermostat is working (and they sometimes fail), the heater should just "fire up" itself - if gas pressure is present and battery voltage is adequate.
