So as some of you may know a tire blow out destroyed all of my grey and black plumbing. I am currently in the process of redoing it all and I found this in the Grey water tank.

I contacted the previous owner and asked if it was theirs and it wast, so it must belong to the couple that owned it before them. This thing had to be sitting in the tank for quit a few years. Its a earring and not as big as it looks in the pic.

SO i was wondering... what have you found in your used TM ?

Wow! I'm surprised it never came out in a dump. There was a travel iron left in one of our drawers, and some plastic dishes. No jewelry, though. :)

I was checking the shower drain from under the trailer, found an empty shampoo bottle in there, can't figure out how the heck it got there! Then found a pencil under the furnace. It needed sharpening though, so I tossed it.

$$$$$

The only thing I ever find in my TM is something that takes money to fix...;)

We haven't found anything that interesting in our TM, but when we were given our 1960's Aloha trailer, when we were cleaning it up, we found a letter written (but not sent) by one of the owners' daughters. It had slipped down into a storage area. This was a really small trailer, the dinette in the front made into a twin bed, there was a double bed in the back, and it used to have a tiny bunk above. Our young family of 4 (including us) barely fit into it. No bathroom, just an ice box. Apparently the family had 5 children and had traveled extensively in this trailer. The daughter went on to tell about how one of the kids (I can't remember which one it was) got really sick and how they had to stay in one town for a long time while the sick one was in the hospital.

I guess that there was at least one tent involved, but what did they do when it rained?

To us, it was a bit of history. I think that I left the letter in the trailer when we sold it for $200. We saw it a few years ago in a local parking lot, apparently it was still being used and the curtains that I made were still in the window. It was pretty cute, it had a faded Aloha decal on the front with palm trees, and a cool zig zag pattern on the body with pink and white trimmed with a faded gold stripe.

A bar of soap, a level that had no water in the bubble, and one roll of TP. Oh, a couple of spiders also. Nothing too exciting.

A quart bottle of toilet cleaner/sanitizer that was half full, and a couple rolls of TP

One blue men's flip flop. I kept forgetting to ask my dad about it (it was his trailer before) and now almost a year after getting it from them, he asked me & my brother (they also bought a trailer from them). Ends up he still has the other flip flop and was packing it for the beach. They will reunite on Saturday. LOL

Also, a gallon jug of water and some funny lantern lights. The lights had come in it when my folks bought the TM used from a dealership.
