A Colorado member is looking for a TrailManor 2518 or a 2720 with a swing hitch that will fit in an 18-foot garage space. Preferred features include the KB/QB layout with a front dinette and bed, stored-out-of-the-elements condition, and minimal project work, with about $10,000 feeling like the right target depending on condition.

I will travel for the right deal.

My wishlist:
1. Must fit in my garage, 18ft max. That means I can do a 2518 model, or 2720 with a swing hitch.
2. Preferably the KB/QB Models with the dinette + bed in the front
3. Willing to take on a project up to a point… I’m not comfortable repairing massive water damage, but I can update and do wiring and the like.

My wife’s wishlist;
1. Stored out of the elements (garage preferably)
2. She does not want a project 😅

I am in Colorado but have been known to drive long distances for the right deal. I don’t have a set budget per se but $10k feels right for the balance I’m going for. I’ll take it on a case by case basis.

Unfortunately I do not have a FB account and it’s a private group. I’m nothing if not stubborn, and won’t be signing up for another account.

If someone would want to cross post my message + contact info there as a kind gesture, it’d be greatly appreciated.

I’m selling our 2003 2720 with swing hitch. It’s the QB model. It has a new A/C and 3 year old water heater. Usually kept under a cover but I’ve had it up since February getting it ready to sell and show. Everything works well and is in great condition for its age. We were 2nd owners in 2016 when we bought it. It’s listed for $6000 OBO on the sales forum but I’d be willing to go to $5000. We are getting ready to sell our house so it would be nice to sell before we move. My name is John. We live in Williams Ca. Just north of Sacramento. My phone # 530-308-1139 if your interested. Like I said some pictures are on the sales forum but show the microwave and stuff still stored in the tub for travel.

Regardless of the intervening posts, I hope you had a good experience here on the Forum. It is what we try to do. If you found a TM, come back and visit us. There is no cost to join.

Much appreciated Bill, I will be sticking around. I can argue with the best of them so apologies, I'll tone it down going forward :)

It is commonly said that a 2518 is 18 feet long, a 2720 is 20 feet long, and a swing hitch shortens the unit by 2 feet. Be aware that all of these numbers are close approximations but are not guaranteed down to the inch. And I assume that your statement that your garage is 18 feet long is likewise a close approximation. Before committing to anything, be sure you confirm the important measurements, down to whatever accuracy you need.

Hi Keith. I just saw your post while searching the forum for comps before listing our ‘06 2720. Have you found what you’re looking for? If not, I’ll send pics of ours.
