Have tried 2 PM over the last 4 weeks.
No answer......

Ed and Joan -

I have not heard anything from you. If you will PM me, I will try to straighten out whatever problem you are experiencing.

Chris doesn't check in here on a daily basis, so he might not see a PM right away. You can also try to email him at [email protected]

The trailmanor owners page has a link has TrailBlazer link on it that takes you to the old application to join the TrailBlazers. Its address is to lake city plant which doesn't exsist.
Applications are sent to our membership Coordinatator.
Need to have this link director to the club website. The PO will quit forwarding stuff in 4 months.
We are running into this in many places, trying to track them all down.
I have written Chris twice and its getting very frustrating when no one answers back.
Also why can't I get to a link under new posts, customer service?

Ed -

It is a little more complex than you describe.

The Trailmanorowners entry page does indeed have a link to Trailblazers. But it is not a direct link.
When you click it, the link takes you to Trailmanor.com (the factory web site).
The Trailmanor factory web site then contains the direct link to Trailblazers.
I believe that this is the link that you want to have changed.

Nobody at Trailmanorowners can change anything on the factory web site. The Trailmanorowners organization and its web site, are completely independent and unrelated to Trailmanor organization and its web site. The Trailblazers organization is part of the factory organization, and thus is unrelated to the Trailmanorowners.

Asking Chris to change something on the factory web site is like asking him to change something on the Toyota web site. There is no way he can do it. You should be addressing your concerns to the factory web site.

I hope this clears it up.

Somewhere theres a link thats hard to find. If you go the factory site and click on owners site, that takes you to our site, click on forum, takes you to Owners site that is has this at bottom "Copyright 2003 Sweetwater Web Hosting. TrailManor is a registered trademark of Trailmanor Inc.", and click on TrailBlazers and that takes you to a wrong page. Your saying that is not controlled by you? Who does Sweetwater belong to? TrailManor????
The factory has changed everything they can as far as their a where of.

Thanks Tim

Thanks, Tim, I think I understand. You are saying that at some time, the factory site changed their link to a new one, the thing about comcast.net. You would like the link on the TMO site to point directly to the same comcast location, rather than linking through the factory site. I'll ask Chris if he can make this change. Technically he can certainly do it, but since the TB is a factory-sponsored organization, I'm not sure if there are any other ramificaitons.

Bill,
I followed both links out to the application for membership form. The forms are the same except the comcast link has you send the money to a Fl address whereas the the older form on the TM site has a Lake City, Tn address. Don't know what it all means but Chris may need to check into that also.

Ken, It should not be a problem, Ed, Rooksroost (President of the Trailblazers) just wants both the Trailmanor site link and Trailmanor owners site link pointing to the Trailblazers website.

Tim

First. I got an email from Chris. Hopefully he'll get the problem straightened out.
Second and more important, The TrailBlazers have nothing to do with the factory and never had!
"Technically he can certainly do it, but since the TB is a factory-sponsored organization, I'm not sure if there are any other ramifications."
There will be no ramifications, trust me. We are a independent club from the factory and are NOT factory-sponsored. This was done so persons can still belong if they go another brand. To join you've had to have owned one at some time. We have many folks in campers, 5 wheels, coaches and even a pop-up!
This is why we have a separate web site.

Ok, I'll bite.

If the TrailBlazers, Inc. don't have factory sponsorship then how come they get a discount and the rest of who don't belong to TrailBlazers do not.

Since TrailBlazers members get a discount from the factory isn't that is a form of factory sponsorship?

We like to think of the discount as a benny not factory sponsorship!
The best advertising TM has are TM owners. They, TM, have always realized that. The new owners realize it too.
If we had Factory sponsorship we'd be like other owners groups, must own the factory's unit, the factory dictates what the club can and cannot do, etc.
Read our constitution, the factory is never mentioned. The factory could choose to stop the discount anytime they want, but they choose not to.
So I'd have class it as a benny......

Hi Everyone,
It's been 4.5 years since I have had to change that index page. The software I use wasn't showing the code right, and I had to get a hold of tech support to get their help to get it to display right. It's fixed now and the rest of the changes are made to it.
Thanks for your patience.
Ct..
