Who do you have Insurance / towing /roadside assistance with?

Insurance /Towing /Roadside Assistance

I currently have Progressive and Good Sam Towing and Roadside Assistance.

I also have Progressive and Good Sam. Neither has been used. I have Geico for my cars but they wanted about as much for the '06 trailer as my '12 Jeep TV and that seemed absurd.

Every state is different.

Bought the trailer from a Camping World and all kinds of Good Sam bennies came with it.

Interesting: I went to AAA and they sold me the Progressive policy. The rules are different in Florida.

We have State Farm, over on the RV.net forums GS doesn't get very good reviews and when we looked into it they, GS, didn't even list the TM. That may have changed from 5 years ago.

thanks..

they do have it listed and it was comparable with my insurance agent is presenting.

I checked with GS but they wanted as much as Geico which was double what my RV cost and as much as the TV which has everything. May be a Florida thing.

Good Sam does not actually "write" insurance. They act as a broker and work with a number of companies depending on which state you are in.

We've used AAA for years but are considering switching to Good Sam. Had an incident in San Antonio where the door lock messed up on our other TT. AAA dispatched a tow truck with a slim-jim to open the door. After talking with AAA for over 3 hours and them telling me that a lock smith was not covered I finally drilled the lock out myself and bought a new one the next day.
