I Thinking About Buying Used.

Its probably quieter than the roof unit too!!!

It is quieter and it runs easily with a Honda 2000 gen-set.

The only drawback is, that it is not placed well. It blows on the bathroom wall instead of toward both ends of the camper (like the roof-mounted A/C does). The cold air immediately circulates back through the A/C unit instead of spreading throughout the camper 1st. A fan helps distribute the clod air toward the end that you are currently using but the other end will be a lot warmer as the air does not circulate well.

In order to keep the compressor from cycling too soon, one must set the temp about 3-4 degrees cooler than the actual room temp desired (setting @ 68 will achieve a ~72 room temp)..

ahhhhhhhhh just like my office at work.

I would determine the model desired, then the budget, then find and buy the newest year/model available that meets your criteria.

2-3 years old seems to be the sweet spot where value has dropped, but a TM in great condition can be found. Of course there are those cream puffs that some find that have sat for 7 years and were used 2x. LOL

Good Luck!
