I Just Ordered A 2007 TM

I went to my local TM dealer, and after talking for a short time I found out that it was possible to order a 2007 TM that has some new features. We talked a little more, and I decided that it would be worth the additional monies, as well as a short wait for the new production to begin. If you are considering a new unit, ask about the 2007 changes.

Hi... We bought a 2006 last fall. Can you tell us what the new changes are since then?

Most are minor, electric stove lighter, some colors are different. The one that I liked was the bathroom walls go all the way to the ceiling. The bathroom door size is increased as well. I would hit my head to many times on the older door design. It looks like TM has taken a lot of the ideas on this forum and included them in the new design.

Hi... Thanks for sharing. The bathroom walls going all the way to the ceiling is a big improvement, I would really like that too. Did they change the locks on the door at all?

I don't expect to receive the unit until mid June or early July.

It Happens Tomorrow

I finally pick up the new 3023 tomorrow. I have been learning as much as I could from all of you current owners. This has allowed me to acquire many of the items that will make the TM experience even more enjoyable. I know that some of you have posted pictures of the 2007 models, but if you have any specific questions about the new units, I will be happy to try to post a picture of it. I will have it set up for in my front yard while I add some of the modifications I’ve found on this forum.

Location of TM 17 inch LCD

This is the location of the TM 17 inch LCD monitor. It is connected to a DVD/CD/Radio above the frig. It is compeletly contained within the bathroom wall, you can not see anything on the bathroom side of the wall. It seems to work very well.

17" Lcd

The 17" monitor looks neat. I might be interested in "retro fitting" my 2619 similarly. The wiring must come up from the bottom of the folding wall. If you get a chance, can you take a picture with the wall folded down, I'd be interested in seeing how they handled the wiring. Is there any protective cover that goes over the screen while the shells are closed?

Thanks.

Nick

You can see two small black spots below the screen. The left one is the on/off switch, and the right is the IR sensor for the remote. I'm in the mountains, so I can't get off air broadcast, but the dealer had it working with an antenna. The wires feed up from the kitchen sink into the bathroom wall. It does not seem to interfere with the movement of wall. When you have the radio on, the tv screen indicates the radio frequency. I am still figuring out how things work. As you can see in the closeup, the radio plays DVD's as well as CD's. The only speakers are the standard ones above the front bed.

No protective cover. The wiring has a plastic coil wrap around it to protect it during movement.

I just went and looked at the TM website. It makes no mention of the 17" LCD TV in either standard features or options. Is it standard or an option? If it is an option, what is the additional cost?

It is a 2007 option. So you would have to work with the Dealer to figure out the cost.

17 Inch TV

I took a few minutes to look at the instructions, so here is a little more information. It is a Farenheit DVD - 29T DVD Player with FM/AM Receiver and built in TV Tuner. I was not able to locate any other information or pricing on the WEB. I'm still getting the TM ready for use, so I have only used the radio, and tested the DVD player. It will play MP3 music as well.

You found it. That is exactly the monitor. The installation is neat in appearance, and works very well. It has a powered antenna on the upper aft side of the front shell. The total package was not that much. (I was wrong, I looked at the invoce, and it was more then the above)

LCD Stored

I have attached the pictures showing the LCD bathroom wall in the closed position. The LCD does not have any cover, and as you can see the wiring leading to the LCD has some wrapping to protect it. I’m sorry if I have been vague about the cost of the option, but it really is determined by what your dealer is willing to do. Eventually TM will come out with a list MSRP, and then you will be able to decide if it is worth it.

THAT TV FREAKING SWEET! I do not watch TV but the DW wants one for rainy days.

Hello Everyone.
I'm new to writing to this forum but have been reading the mails for awhile now trying to learn about TM and all the extras. We are still shopping TM but hope to join the ranks of owners soon. I am trying to "see" the 2007 changes first but having a real hard time finding the photos posted - can someone point the way for me?
Also, what is a "rear hitch for wheel less trailer"?
thanks,
Texas Bookworm
