One tactic, which worked very well for me, was to search the web for the absolute best deal you can find. Then take these quotes to a local dealer and give them an opportunity to meet or beat it. Their egos are so usually big that they will move heaven and earth to beat that deal. Some dealers operate on shoestring profit levels and rely on volume to generate their profits. You can make that work for you.
