Help us name our new Doggy

We rescued him from the shelter yesterday.

Part Dachshund, part mini-Pincher. Very sweet, lovable dog.........he just needs a name. At the moment, he thinks his name is "Comeere"

"Roofus"...........that's funny...........our parrots name is "Doofus" (Rainbow Lorikeet).

It didn't start out that way. His original name was "Spinnaker" because of his bright, beautiful colors (and we lived on a sailboat). We soon started calling him "Doofus" because of his personality.......it just sorta stuck....

Well.....it's official. The Vet just called back with all his test results and he said, "Oh, by the way......there isn't a name on his chart. Doesn't he have a name". I impulsively said, "Sccamper', 'Sccamp' for short". I had to spell it 4 times.

SCCAMPERS (So Calififornia Campers) is a camping club that we camp with....

Sccamp is a great name. Seems to fit based on the pics you posted.

Does the crazy parrot travel with you? I'm a bird person currently w/o a bird. Tweet passed away after 12 years a couple of years back. In my younger days, I had a Nanday Conure, Sammy Bird for many years.
