Hello from Boise, ID. My wife and I are now owners of a 2009 TrailManor 2619. Feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment.
Ended up driving 1100 miles over a weekend to go pick it up in northern California. Trailer was overall in good shape when I looked it over, it was popped up at the time. Wasn't until I was hooking up and got on the road that I started noticing things. The previous owner had cut the Bargman wire and wired on a flat 4 connector and had removed the trailer breakaway switch. I only wish I could understand the reasoning for this but I can't. Due to the miles I was driving and time of day ending up doing part of the drive at night and noticed that I only had one working brake light, partly due to wiring and partly due to my FIL's tow rig I was borrowing. But got it home.
Popped it up to show the wife as she wasn't able to make the trip down and it was really hard opening up the front shell, but got it done.
Get to this weekend and our plan to wipe everything down, clean it out and get it ready to take out this upcoming weekend. The front shell is still hard to open. I think that is due to the 400 watts of solar, 4 100w panels on the roof and the tension bars not being adjusted for the extra weight. Found out that the middle tension bracket on the passengers door is cracked and will need to be fixed most likely before we take it out. I was able to remove the toilet, it still had the original toilet, we are planning on installing a cassette toilet, and got everything wiped down. I was able to install a new 7 way plug and things are mostly back working, FIL tow rig still has an issue with running lights. I'm working to get a new breakaway switch installed. I'm tracing the wiring back to behind the fridge, boy what a rat's nest. We are working on loading some stuff back in it today. I still haven't tested any of the appliances yet.
The previous owner kept the inside nice and clean, it had new cushions and looks like recent foam for mattresses, 400w of solar on the roof, two lifepo batteries and renogy solar controller and 2000w inverter, newer fans.
