We turn on the fridge a couple of days before we leave and fill it up. Works great until we travel and it opens and it's all on the floor. I'm down to 2 eye hooks and a rope. DW Hayes it. Actually I do too. Any ideas?

We use these straps on our fridge in our TrailManor Elkmont with the big fridge. They work well. Just be sure to mount them the correct direction.

Our Dometic fridge has a has a door lock just above the upper left hand side of the door. It's about the size of a quarter, and when the door is closed, you turn the lock to engage the door. See below image from the manual.

Still thinking I might see an answer to my query. Over the years, TM used a number of different refrigerator models from a couple different mfrs, so the "universal answer" you are seeking may not happen. My TM originally had the same problem. Jacob, the head of the manufacturing crew at TM, showed me a quick and easy solution - but I need a picture of the latch area to describe it.

We solved ours with a bungie strap. We have a 2004 3124KB. Hook one end of the strap under the sofa's seat on the metal sliding bracket. And the other end on the handle of the under sink cabinet door, left side. I think it's an 18 or 24".
The bungie gives enough pressure across it to keep the door from flinging open.
We tried tightening the door clip. And placing things in front like the over sink cabinet. But neither of these worked completely.
I searched the hardware stores and Amazon for a more elegant solution. Most options we found would add a hook or an eye that would stick out from the door and we'd end of catching things on it. We saw some solutions like Wavery suggested. Those are the best looking options.
We leave the bungie end attached to the sofa and just shove it in the crack while we're camped.

Check that the right hand hinge connections are tight. Our Norcold had the screws backed out slightly which allowed the door to jiggle open. I also added a washer on the bottom hinge to tighten up the whole door thing.
Then I tore it out and replaced it with a compressor fridge
