I'm having a weird issue with this forum's search engine, and am wondering if it happens with everyone or if it is just happening to me...

When I search under the global TM Owner's Forum, searching for key words that I know I used in some of my older posts, they never show up. I can search very recent posts (~week old?), but none of my month-plus old posts will show up (either reply or starting a new thread), even if I try to force it by searching a unique direct quote in one of my posts.

So if I need to go back to an old post, I need to click on my own name and click "show posts by this user"....then scroll down until I find what I need. Or I try to find it by paging through discussion boards to manually find the thread. Not convenient.

Any way to fix it?

Hmmm,

It works for me. I just searched using my name and entered the words "water inlet plug" (no quotes in the search field).

It quickly returned only one result, as you can see... Try again and if it doesn't work, send Bill a PM.

John,
Go to Advanced Search - Search Options - Find Posts From: You are probably set to one week. Change it to Any Date to find all of your old posts.
