Could someone actually measure a standard 2720 (preferably a 2007)with Airco from the ground to highest point for me? Also, I would appreciate dimensions on the airco system. I'm getting a little concerned that my 2720 that I have on order won't fit in my garage. Specs say it is 64.5" high closed, add 2.5" lift, and 9.5" Airco (I beleive height of 2007 Airco system) = 74.5. I Garage opening is 84" so I was thinking no problem. How big is the aircon unit?

I don't have a 2007 - but I have a 2006, which I think is the same. I believe you will be OK, since your garage is taller than mine. But you won't have 10" of margin. (BTW, check your math.)

The specs on the TM web site say to add 14-1/4" for low profile air, and I'm pretty sure that's what my TM has. If you get one with a 9-1/2" height, you are even better off. Where did the 9-1/2" number come from, if I can ask?

My garage door opening is 82 1/4" high. My 2006 2720SL (same basic height) with 2" lift and air conditioner fits with 3" - 4" to spare. The air conditioner on my 2006 TM is a low-profile model. On older TMs, the air conditioner was taller. I know this because my 2002 TM kissed the rubber weather strip, and it did NOT have a lift kit.

I got the 9.5" spec from Duo-Therm web site (http://www.dometicusa.com/climate.php?product=51). Someone else indicated that Trailmanor had switched from Coleman to the "Dometic Duo Therm Brisk Air" in one of the post somewhere in the Trail Manor Owner's Forum. http://www.dometicusa.com/pdf/3309032.005.pdf shows as 9.5" for the 6063 series. http://www.dometicusa.com/pdf/3109395.032.pdf shows 12.5' for the 579, 590. and 595 series. I would hope they are now using the 6063 series. I saw somehwere else (can't remember where) that indicated that TrailManor switched to a 2" lower AirCo system to account for adding the 2.5" lift system in efforts to make lift kit a wash. I just e-mailed the factory, so as soon as they respond back, I will post exactly what they are now using on the new Trail Manors.

The airco on my new (2006) TM is an RV Comfort 9000 series - this is the Coleman Mach series. I just measured the height - including the air box it sits on, it is 12.5" above the center of the roof.

The height you see on the Duo-Therm web site MAY not include the box - or there may be several boxes available, with different heights. TM uses a box that doesn't let the unit poke too far down below the interior ceiling, of course.

The airco on my old (2002) TM was a Dometic Duo-Therm Brisk Air unit. It was not advertised as "low profile", and was taller. The change to the Coleman unit in about 2004 or 2005 was TM's intro to the "low profile" units.

Okay,

I just received an e-mail from Adam Hunley at the factory. This is the Air Co going on my 2007 order placed on 11 September.

Right you are, George. This is the Coleman 9000 series unit that I mentioned in my post above. It became the standard in 2004 or 2005, I believe, so your TM should have the same height as mine. No worries about your garage.
