Buying a used TM

I am considering buying a used 1990's model TM, but have concerns on fixing up an old TM.

What level of support could I expect from TM dealers and TM parts department if I purchased 1990's model TM? Can I even get old TM parts or would I have to go aftermarket? Could I have mechanical parts replaced, i.e. Torsion bars, steps, etc..

Never thought of it, but can trailers be painted?

How about rust repairs?

Not sure if I would get the cold shoulder at a dealer bringing in a much older TM in for repairs.

Has anyone gone through a restoration?

Any help would be much appreciated

Depending on your distance from a dealer, why not pay them a visit and ask your questions? Many have used TMs and that is likely to be your source for dealer repairs, etc. I'm sure your will also get useful and perhaps more practical answers on this forum also. We are good people!!!
