Anyone ever see a cactus celebrity?

We have a cactus that blooms dozens of these flowers all summer long. Neighborhood comes to see them. Sort of a celebrity. Wonder if it has gone to its head? (Have no idea why it turned it 90 degrees)

Nice picture, we have one of these. DW calls it carrion flower.
