2417 Sport gray water tank

Has anyone had trouble with the 2417 sport gray water tank leaking at the connection to the output pipe? Actually the tank has completely come apart at the joint. Trailmanor doesn't make it anymore and has no tanks. It had a factory support of the output pipe but that didn't work. I believe that the problem is the weight of the discharge valve hanging off the end of the pipe.

You may want to check out this thread and/or do a search for "PVC repairs" or tank repairs".

You should also have a strap that runs from the frame, under that pipe and back to the frame. That is intended to take the weight from the discharge valves.

How to patch the gray water tank?

This used 2720SL is new to us. We realized that the gray water tank is leaking. Someone had obviously tried to repair it, and a bunch of old caulking came out of the tank. How do we go about patching it? Thank you.
