Has anyone camped in their TrailManor in below freezing temperatures at night? Forecast is showing lows around 25 degrees and highs in the mid 50's.

We have a trip coming up and are worried about freezing pipes. The site we are staying in has 30 amp, water and sewer. Our furnace works well.

Any recommendations to prevent damage / stay comfortable are welcome!

We've camped in 15*F for 3-days.. No issues except snow. If it doesn't snow, you should have no issues. If snow is in the forecast, I'd recommend cancelling. TMs are not designed to carry much of a snow load while set-up.

Your water tank and plumbing are all inside the trailer so it should stay at or just below what your comfort level is. Not much of a chance of freezing pipes @ 25* outside temp.

In 2011 we were camping in Bisbee, AZ during a 100 year regional freeze. Check post #3 in this thread; How cold can it be and you still travel and camp

We've camped in winter temps many times -- just a few weeks ago overnight lows were in the low to mid 20s, though daytime temps were in the high 50s. The coldest we've been camping has been in the low teens -- ice formed on the inside of the windows from the condensation.

We've also camped in some light snow -- maybe 2 inches -- without issue. The snow load on the roof obviously depends on the density and amount of snow.

Have super warm bedding and just have some provision for heat -- either a fair amount of battery power to run the furnace, and a means to recharge those batteries, or using electric heaters if plugged in.

Winter camping is probably my favorite....
