We are now the proud owners of a Leer camper shell. It has to come from the factory so we won't actually have it until around Christmas. And as long as we were there, the bed slide seemed like such a great idea . . . That should take care of the worry of the tailgate hitting . . . As for the cat boxes, walks, etc. Monster really isn't very needy. If we are rolling, he won't need ANYTHING. He will go deep until we stop and then he will make us pay for it.

We don't have a WDH and now with the bed slide on the way, we're going to have to disconnect and pull forward anyway.

You're gonna love that bed-slide . You'll never have to crawl into the back of the truck. I weigh 215# and I can sit on the end of the slide with it all the way out. It makes handling your firewood a dream.

When we're camping, I pull it out and use it as a table for all sorts of thinks. We even put the BBQ on it.

YEP!!!!!!! Can't wait.......even though it will be a little chilly by the campfire.

We haven't been camping for 5 weeks (very unusual for us). In fact, I got a real scare yesterday. I went down to the garage to wash the truck and camper. I couldn't find the truck and thought (for a moment) maybe it had been stolen...... My wonderful wife (and memory) reminded me that I parked the truck in the lower garage.

I was actually a little surprised that it started instantly, after being parked and forgotten about for 5 weeks.
