We're considering either a Hybrid or a TrailManor. The biggest drawback for the TrailManor seems to be the small Dinette table. If we wanted to eat or play games inside it looks like the dinette table would be too small compared to the spacious tables that most Hybrids have. Has anyone found a table that fits in a 3023 or 2720 that gives comparable space to the tables found in the 17' Jaycos or Travel Stars?

You do know the table has a leaf for it. The table in my 2720 is plenty big with the leaf installed. I haven't measured but close to 4 or 5 foot wide.

one of the great things about our layout in the 2619, is that our son spreads out on the front bed while the 3 of us sit comfortably at the table, and we play dominoes with plenty of room. our table works fine, with or without the leaf.

On a rainy day, which is rare in a California camping season, we can seat 5 adults around the table in our 2720. Two on each side and I sit in a camping chair on the end. We use the edge of the front bed to store some of the serving dishes.
It is cozy, but does work. Normally we eat outside. If I wanted to eat inside I would have stayed home. ![]() With the leaf in, I can barely squeeze in between the fridge and the table, but my son(26) his wife (27) and our daughter(28) have no problems. On my list of things to do is to buy another leaf. The table opens up farther than is necessary for the current leaf. If I rip the new leaf into 1/3 and 2/3, then a leaf and a third will fit, but no one would be able to squeeze between the fridge and the table anymore. If it is just the two of us, then I would use the 2/3 leaf. A full leaf is to big for us to squeeze behind and no leaf is a bit small. |

Actually, there are three 2720 models -- you forgot the SD model, which has a dinette on the slide. I've not actually seen one inside, but the floor plan indicates that it has the same dinette on the slide that is in the straight 2720, just leaving some extra floor space between the dinette and the kitchen.
