Map Software

I use Microsoft Streets and Trips with no problems. Before taking a trip, I will check Streets to get an idea of my route. Then I use the dash-mounted Garmin in the vehicle as I drive. I find that every once in awhile the Garmin routes in a weird or worse fashion, so it is a good idea to have a basic idea of where I want to go. The good thing about Streets is you don't need an internet connection to use it. I have used this combo for years with no issues.

Actually I like AAA website. It generates TripTiks and I can save my old trips and even mark the place of interest along the way. A great deal in my book.
