Couldn't the bad guys just cut the cable with a bolt cutter? Or am I missing something?

All it does is slow someone down. If they can't grab an run that stops a lot of people.

I have a 20 year old cable lock that fits through the door of my truck. I use it to secure gas and water cans. Its plenty adequate for that and no one has stolen anything yet secured on that cable.

I wondered if it could be cut with a bolt cutter...figured it that it probably could...you can spend another 25.00 and not have to use a pad lock according to what I read.
