I watched the same program. Really enjoyed seeing the rv's being built. The million dollar Marathon coaches were a little out of my league!

yea!
Hey Bobby.
Know what you mean about kind of feeling snubbed. But what the heck, with the price of gas going in the direction that it is the show producers will be doing a special about RV's that take very little extra gas $$$ to tow, just like OUR TM's.
Keep on camping!

Maybe it is like camping spots...the best ones are the ones few know about.

So, I had never heard of Marathon Coaches.....I apparently have lead a sheltered life. In checking out their website and prices, I think we all have such a bargain with the TMs. And try getting 1 of those behemouths into an area like my avatar.
I figure the people that buy those Class As do just that because they can. And then they call it camping.....really back to nature, huh?? Of course, tent campers probably say things like that about us.

Chap,
I'm sure that tent campers DO say the same about us. That is what my wife and I did up until this year including wilderness canoeing trips on the Canadian border among other places. I have enough camping/canoeing gear to start my own outfitter business.
However, with me bumping age 70 and her a cancer patient we opted to move from the cold (and often wet) ground to a warm king sized bed. The TM suits our needs perfectly and is a good compromise between comfort and economy.

Bill,
The missus and I also went through the ranks. Tent > Popup > Trailmanor. Thinkn' about the next step up with a Class C and full timing it for a year or so when she retires.....in another 10 years or so. For the time being, the TM is perfect for what we currently need, and maybe even if we decide to hit the road full time......won't know that until the time comes.
Good luck to your missus with her treatments.

Chap, they take those to RV resorts, which they showed one in Las Vegas on the show. I was sitting there watching it, and sure it was nice, but really lacked a view to me. It wasn't camping to me, but the people who have those kind of motorhomes and me don't think alike anyway.
Their idea of roughing it is when they have to pump their own gas.

Rv Show
I believe I saw the same show about a year ago. They seem to re-run these to get thier moneys worth. I too was supprised that Trail Manor was not featured especially because of the uniqueness of the TM, towing ease, and light weight. There were others that were "snubed" as well I'm sure. Perhaps the RV's and trailers featured also paid a gratuity to be featured? There was also a show on the small "Tear drop" style trailers and their owners. Maybe they would want to do a "Trail Blasers" show?
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families, God bless.
