Well something is not right, Sat. before ordering a new 2720SL I measured a LEVEL 2007 2720SL without a lift & CENTER ball height was 16 5/8"??? So without the option being available as an option & being standard equipment was the 2007 I measured taller than a 2006 without the lift???

I was at the Big E (Eastern States Exposition Fair Grounds) in West Springfield, MA this past weekend for the annual RV and Camping Show. Debra Lowry and Deric Cheyne from MCD (Trailmanor dealer in W. Yarmouth, MA) were there with two units. Also present was one of the engineers from the factory. Greg (sorry, don't remember his last name) explained the change in the axles. The Torkflex suspension used on the TM from about 2003 to 2006 (?) came with the wheel angle set at 22.5 down (I assume that is degrees). The factory started using axles set at 45 down on the newer 2007 models. In effect they raised the height of the TM without using a lift kit. I wonder if there is any way to change the 22.5 down (on my TM Torkflex axle) to 45 down. That would eliminate the need for a lift kit.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a list of wheel angles for the axles.

Contacted Dexter regarding the Torkflex down (or up) angle. The response: "No, the different start angles are achieved with different components that
can NOT be changed once the axle is built."
