We will picnic in our grove at home. Then camp later during the week or next week. Oh, the joys of retirement.

Little Diamond Lake - (Thousand Trails /NACO /Leisure Time Resorts) Washington. It's only about 30 miles from home. They're having a Civil War camp / re-enactment. Should be very interesting!

I'm jealous. We were gonna camp this weekend but the DW wanted to see Tim McGraw in concert so we cancelled our trip and I got tickets for Friday night. As luck would have it Tim has bronchitis and cancelled the show. what a bummer. Of course Tim was in concert with his wife Faith Hill, (whom I was willing to sit and look at only because my wife wanted to see Tim ) hahaha
Hope you all had a nice trip.

having our annual 4th of July extravaganza tomorrow.. (big family party, barbeque, swimming in the pool, lots of firecrackers). A big mess to clean up on the 5th then we are off on the 6th for Yellowstone NP, Waterton NP in Canada and Glacier NP in Montana. This is our first big trip in the trailmanor and we are excited. It's ready to go and set up in the back driveway so all our interested relatives can look it over during the party.

Wow, nice trip! We did Yellowstone/Glacier/Waterton last year at about the same time, and had a ball. You will love the towns of Canmore and Waterton, Alberta - be sure to stop for a beer at the Grizzly Paw Pub in Canmore! But be sure to watch out for the bunnies in Canmore, and the deer in Waterton!

By the way, don't try to take any firewood into Alberta - they will confiscate it at the border, which annoyed me no end.

Be sure to post pics when you get back!

Just got back from four nights at Sun Lakes Park Resort in Eastern Washington. Watched the laser light show and fireworks at Grand Coulee Dam. It was spectacular.

The weather was sizzling hot (100+ each day) so got to try out the AC for the first time. It worked great, but was quite loud as others have commented.

Have a safe and happy 4th!

Pulled up at home at 6 PM on the forth after leaving Colorado Springs and the Jubilee on the 1st. 2000 miles there and back and nary a problem (hose fitting under the sink vibrated loose, lost a few screws and caught some others before the worked all the way out, blew 2 fuses on the way there when the power supply from the park when haywire) VERY HAPPY to be home safe and sound. Long trip. Pictures soon.
