Played with this. It would be a really good app if they had a way to import the checklists and procedures so you did not have to enter on the portable device. Sent them this suggestion. Will see what happens.

I was mostly kidding Bill
I guess my Ipod is new enough that I don't mind entering information. Our checklists aren't that long anymore anyway. They used to be when we first got our Bounder but not so much anymore. The To Do part is really great.

I just got this terrific app for my Ipod touch. http://www.iappphone.com/apps/329195954/rv-companion/
Now I'm waiting for Bill to delete this as spam It's not! I've already gotten rid of two checklists! I love it! It's worth it just for the to do list.

My Ipod shuffle died a couple of years ago, it was fun while it lasted, but the capacity was, well, about the same as a small CD case of CD's. IMHO it was pretty much a throwaway item.
I recently bought myself a Zune 120 GB for a Christmas present. My kids both have one, they've been very reliable, and I don't want to pay for satellite radio, don't have a CD player in the car (it's a 1995, yes I am cheap, trying to save up for retirement and pay for 2 kids in college at the same time) and it works great for me. It's not that compact, but I have a lot of music on there and there's room for much, much more. It also holds photos and videos.

Wow, it only lasted a year or so then? Hopefully that isn't the case with the itouch... I just got mine when I found out how well it worked with the Ford Sync system... I like the hands free use. I had a tape player in my '93 Explorer and I probably would still have the Explorer except that I took advantage of the "cash for clunkers" ... and when Costco had a great rebate on the Itouch in September DH got it for me.
