Myrtle Beach or Bust?
Pam,
Deb and I would love to see you and Buck down there. Unfortunately, I've got to beat those drums at church the last 2 Sundays of the month. Hope y'all have a good time. Should be great weather!

Here's the gouge
Following info taken from trailmanor.com, under trailblazers, Rallies/Events
Dixie Chapter Fall 2005 Rally
Ocean Lakes Campground - Myrtle Beach, SC
October 28-30, 2005
Ocean Lakes Campground is on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean at 6001 South Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29574. 3000 sites are available for transient campers and Dixie Chapter has been allotted 30 sites. Each site has 30 or 50-amp electric service, water and sewer hook-ups, telephone and cable TV connections (at no extra charge) and picnic tables. These sites are very near to indoor swimming, recreation center (where videos are available for rental and tickets are available at reduced rates for shows in the area), tennis courts and many other amenities.
The campsite fee is about $30 per night.
Make reservations directly with the campground by calling (800) 722-1451 and telling the operator the reservation is for TrailManor TrailBlazers 2005. The rates will be available from October 23rd through October 30th, 2005 if anyone wishes to arrive early.
Barbara and Charles Tidwell are hosting the rally. Contact them at (843) 650-7082 or e-mail at [email protected] for more information.
Glad to help out. Bill

We just returned from MB this past weekend for some other business. . . we were not camping ![Frown](https://www.trailmanorowners.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif) We had already made arrangements to be there without our camper, and we're not ready for camping, but now that I know of this I'm going to see if we can come, at least for one day. We haven't taken our camper out yet so this would be a great time to meet other TM campers and learn!

We didn't make it. . . How was it? I wish that we could have come but we had so many other things going on it was impossible. Maybe the next time we can be there!

Been there, done that.
the rally was a huge success, despite the fact that the host could not make it [family sickness, so I was told]. Southern hospitality at it'ds best.
Folks from as far away as Michigan.
The group went out for dinner on Friday evening and had a pot luck dinner Saturday.
Weather mid 60's, sunny.
Fishing - terrible.
Looking forward to a return trip to Dixie land.
