YWORRYDOG, thank you for the offer of your phone, but, the technical challenge of getting Siemens to modify or repair it may require more effort than I'm willing to put out. By the way, what is a "sim card?" All the various terms like "GSM," "CDMA" and others relating to wireless phone service are meaningless to me.
I may just take the lazy way out and bear with A.T.&T.'s service, or lack of it, for another 11 months.
