It is great to hear that so far things are going smoothly for you. Hail damage is one of my fears especially when traveling in the midwest. My insurer only insures in NJ and a tiny part of PA . Not sure how they would handle a hail claim from so far away. That said I'm currently working through claim #4 with them and am still very satisfied. Seems my wife's bright green car must be magnetic, even when parked. But that's another story.
I think bright green is the problem. One parked across the street from our house had massive damage and the rest of us got out with little to none. Her's was the only green on the street. :-\
Got the last check from State Farm today. Homeowners paid 1K, auto paid 16K and I think I can still get 8 to 10K when I sell 2 years from now. In other words for the first time in my life I think I came out on top with insurance.
Great! Nice to hear that State Farm has treated you so fairly. Should I ever need to shop for a new insurance carrier I know at least 1 good place to look. Don't think that I'd get so much for my 1990 M26, however. ;D
