We had a livin lite 8.0 pop up before we got our trail manor. Nice unit as a starter. But... we outgrew it as our family got older.

Yes indeed I have taken a close look at that exact model which would work perfectly for us with the bunks for the kids and the one slide which really opens it up inside. I think you hit a complete home run with that particular model.

But to your point there are some downsides which are deal breakers for us right now:
1. It will NOT fit in my garage; I'd have to keep it at my parents or find outside storage place.
2. it's lightweight but given it's a regular sized TT, it does NOT have the low profile of the TM to reduce sway and help gas mileage.
3. Use: We are averaging a little over 4 trips/year; not enough to justify a new rig just yet.

Congrats on getting the 21BHS ...

Talking Styrofoam Hamburger Container

Sorry but this thing looks like a luggage carrier bolted to a trailer frame.

It's a Star Trek shuttle craft on wheels, who could ask for anything better ?

The downside is they're made to order, factory direct, so you're looking at several months lag time between order and delivery and you have to go to SC to pick it up. They will sell you any degree of completion, if you want a shell and come up with your own floor plan, they'll do it. The video explains it a lot better, the one on the website doesn't work on Chrome or some browsers:
