I have always gone with the saying better safe than sorry. I am reasonably sure I could get by without the WDH, but if two years down the road I start seeing my rear suspension sagging I would regret it.
I highly recommend TPMS. You can ride down the road knowing you don’t have a slow leak that you won’t be aware of until the tire blows. It is kind of interesting to see what is going on with tire temperature and its effect on pressure going down the road. I am not positive but I think this should also give you early warning to a bearing going out. For me the peace of mind of not having to worry about an undetected tire problem is well worth the price. When we had our blowout the alarm worked flawlessly.

If I was doing a WDH again I would look at Anderson's system and possibly go with it.

I have the Andersen and love it. I modded my TM to have a 30" custom removable tongue. I was able to add links to the chains so I could have the brackets on the main part of the frame, not the removable tongue. Highly recommend the Andersen system.

Shane,
Is the andersen system really redistributing the weight, or is it just managing sway (via their friction material). I ask because I've done a lot of research (want the andersen system) but some of what I read was that it was really just doing good sway control...

I don't have scale numbers but it does level things out and the rig handles a whole lot better when using it. I vote it works. The only thing that it comes up short on is the no grease promise. There's is no friction as the trailer turns side to side because the ball moves with the coupler but it may creak as the coupler rolls up and down over the ball.

I've been looking at possible hitches, one that I could use to get a possible TM home, and use for utility trailers as well.
My receiver sits at about 14" from the ground, whereas the TM tongue should ride at 19". Ideally, it should be level. How far from level can I be?
Things are much more expensive up here in Canada. This would probably do:
https://www.amazon.ca/Pro-63071-Ball...ds=Reese+63071
Then there's Reese for much less, but won't give me the lift:
https://www.princessauto.com/en/deta...nt/A-p8210122e
If I must go for the first option, I may just as well start getting the parts for the WDH.

How easy is it to install TPMS? Is this something that should be done by a professional and if so who would that be?

I will probably go with this:
https://www.rearviewsafety.com/safet...ng-system.html
**** This device is unsuitable for trailer tires as the max pressure is 51 psi, below the recommended pressure for the 15" tires. ***

For these two purposes, I have two hitches, a WDH for the TM, and a lightweight hitch for utility work. That way I get to set the height for the two independently. The utility trailer hitch is also a lot lighter, making it easier to carry around and mount/dismount on the truck.
[EDIT - apologies, I misunderstood what you meant. Yes, a simple bar hitch could be used to tow the TM carefully, provided that both it and the ball are rated for the TM weight. I think a common weight rating on those things is 5000 pounds, which should be OK.]

Not that far. You will drag the hitch on every bump and swale.
I think that this hitch bar can be inserted upside down to give you lift instead of drop.
I would vote no. You can get the same simple hitch, without the hex indent, for much less money at WalMart. And without the hex indent, you can turn it over to get the height you need.

Bailey’s Mom TPMS easy to install. Sensors screw on to the tires and a dash mounted indicator plugs into 12V plugin. Here is a link to discussion: http://trailmanorowners.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=11301
