I think i need to engineer a way to drop the ceiling unit out of the recess when in use and return it to the recess for closing down the camper.... I am sure some type of flexible duct would be required to span the gap between the roof-mounted unit and the ceiling unit when dropped down....

Perhaps i am over thinking this. Maybe I just need a couple of guides for the vents? (It just seems inefficient to have the vents blow into the ledges of the roof before blowing through the camper).

I had a popup and had no issue keeping it at 70 in the sun with outside temps at 105.

TM i set knob for what i have found to be 70 and when 95 in the sun it holds the temp and the compressor is cycling. So i would expect it could take 105 or higher.

When racing I had something similar: it was called "a bucket of water over my head". Road racing a Corvette split window in the summertime was HOT.

Today I just take frequent cool showers.

For whatever reason, my TM came from the factory with the Carrier Air-V with air shower. I know I didn't specify, that's what they must have been using at the time.

I can confirm, it's **very** nice when you want a quick cool-down. I can also confirm that the unit has never failed to keep us cool, regardless of outside conditions. The heat strip is fine as well, at least until snow-level temps. We've only needed an extra space heater on one trip, and it snowed outside then. The heat strip, on the other hand, is very, very slow to warm up the inside.
