I think you're correct on being behind on web hosting; it appears the domain name is registered and paid through April, 2018:

Domain Name: TRAILMANOR.COM
Registry Domain ID: 209802_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.networksolutions.com
Registrar URL: http://networksolutions.com

Except the owner is not TrailManor, it resolved to Perfect Privacy in Jacksonville which is more of an anonymizer..

Domain Name: TRAILMANOR.COM
Registry Domain ID: 209802_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.networksolutions.com
Registrar URL: http://networksolutions.com
Updated Date: 2015-01-28T23:30:28Z
Creation Date: 1997-04-11T04:00:00Z
Registrar Registration Expiration Date:2018-04-12T04:00:00Z
Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, LLC.
Registrar IANA ID: 2
Registrar Abuse Contact Email: [email protected]
Registrar Abuse Contact Phone: +1.8003337680
Reseller:
Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited
Registry Registrant ID:
Registrant Name: PERFECT PRIVACY, LLC
Registrant Organization:
Registrant Street: 12808 Gran Bay Parkway West
Registrant City: Jacksonville
Registrant State/Province: FL
Registrant Postal Code: 32258
Registrant Country: US
Registrant Phone: +1.5707088780

Now it appears that Perfect Privacy is front for people who wish to remain anonymous which seems odd & may not answer any questions. Looking a bit further gives the IP assigned to:

OrgName: NTT America, Inc.
OrgId: NTTAM-1
Address: 8300 E Maplewood Ave.
Address: Suite 400
City: Greenwood Village
StateProv: CO
PostalCode: 80111
Country: US
RegDate: 2005-12-08
Updated: 2014-12-29
Ref: https://whois.arin.net/rest/org/NTTAM-1

Which is a global backbone provider. Bit more digging gives this which is likely the host:

Registrant Name: Ashton ITC (ITC8-DOM)
Registrant Organization: Ashton ITC (ITC8-DOM)
Registrant Street: 500 Pickett Thomas Road
Registrant City: Camden
Registrant State/Province: SC
Registrant Postal Code: 29020
Registrant Country: US
Registrant Phone: +1.8034208888

https://www.ashtonitc.com/

Something strange is going on. Usually this is much easier.

Ashton ITC looks like a Wordpress site design mill. Folks who don't know better let their web provider provide or own their domain or they actually transfer the domain to their provider. Never do that! Never accept a "free" domain from your internet provider. It lets your provider blackmail you when you want to move your site elsewhere or use someone else's services. Always register your domain by yourself and maintain ownership of it. Only set your IP address to the provider's server. And don't pay more than $15/year.

There is a chance that Bob lost the company's domain and will have to ransom it back from the provider.

Properly handled, it doesn't cost more than $10/month to operate a web site like Trailmanor's. You pay for design only rather than allow the designer to control the site. But a lot of people allow themselves to be deceived.

Agree, of course I've been rolling my own since the last century. Interesting thing is that in many contracts the small print says when you pay for a web design, you don't own it, the designer or the hosting company does.

Suspect something strange is going on, I maintain my websites (click on .sig for personal one) offline. They do not have all the latest design features but get the job done (and work on small screens).

But my point is that when I redesign something the only gap is the time it takes me to upload (and sometimes rename) the new stuff. Less than five minutes. And usually program using Notepad (tried Front Page for a while but my copy stopped working around Windows 7...)

New this afternoon if you go to just trailmanor.com (without "/wordpress"). Someone, I'm assuming with Cleo's blessing, explains that they're having some issues changing their website host.

Custom RV (2400 mile round trip) where it sat 5 months waiting for parts
and repairs before I gave up and traded it in for a loss of close to $8K.
9,600 miles we traveled during the 11 months of ownership dealing exclusively
with repairs of this POS Trailmanor.

Wow ... I may have seen it all. This is Website Hosting 101 ... if you can't change host providers without bringing down your site for weeks, what does this say about your manufacturing process? Not a good sign ...

It's frustrating because I know many of us are experienced and would be willing to assist with the website FOR FREE ... here's hoping they get their act together soon.
