Could it be for a 12 volt plug

As said it is a cigarette lighter socket but somehow TM found some that are about .1 mm smaller in diameter than an American lighter. I have just forced in dual lighter adapters with a bit of sanding on both and leave them there.

I use for some 12v fans I have and a 12v meter to see how the solar panels are doing. They also have the switch for cable or TV antenna so hard to replace.

Am working on my AC now ant trying to figure out why mine starts with a struggle with the 2000W Honda but is not starting with the 2500W Predator.

"Old trick of the trade worked" - hard start capacitor ? If not then what please ? YWTK

ps
12-volt cigar lighter receptacle and plug, size A
Receptacle inside diameter: 20.93 - 21.01 mm (median 20.97 mm)
Plug body diameter: 20.73 - 20.88 mm (median 20.805 mm)

12-volt cigar lighter receptacle and plug, size B
Receptacle inside diameter: 21.41 - 21.51 mm (median 21.455 mm)
Plug body diameter: 21.13 - 21.33 mm (median 21.18 mm)

Hard to put a 21.13 mm pug into a 21.01mm socket worse if other end of tolerance

Padgett, are you saying the dimensions of the two outlets in your trailer are different sizes or are you saying that that there are two different plug sizes made and they are distinguished by A and B? If the latter then presumably we could search the Internet for a matching plug size???

What I am saying is that the two 12v outlets in my TM are type A (European) but most devices sold in the US are type B.

I had a few splitters like this in my odds and ends box (have a number of boxes for different things I find on clearance or are left over from something else).

Took two and sanded the barrels down a bit to fit in the socket (half a mm is Not Much) and just plug normal things into the extensions.

This is the type of thing TM (and small companies in general) does occasionly but you would think it would be noticed. Of course if someone bought enough panels for a few decades of TMs then....

Heck most people do not even know there is a type A and a type B.

Inghamm, back to the original gist if this thread... personally, I would be pretty annoyed by the lack of communication if I had a new TM on order and couldn't get an update on delivery status. I bought mine new from a dealer that had it on their lot so I didn't have to contend with the wait you're dealing with. Hope you get yours soon and that it meets your expectations.

Default Good News and Bad News

The good news is that TrailManor is communicating with our dealer, so we got for the first time information on what the factory hold up is. The bad news is that it will be another month. At least we can cancel our Labor Day plans now.

Default New TM plant production

Inghamm
Sorry about the disappointing news about your baby. Hopefully the extra time needed will produce a Better TM for you.
If you want, share with the rest what the delay is caused by.
Finally do you mean Memorial Day, Labor Day is the beginning of September.
Again sorry for the disappointing news.
Hope it's delivered in less time than a month.

Default Factory Delay

I think I will let TrailManor decide how they want the delay information handled. If they don't want it "out there", I don't want them to be punished for being up front with my dealership. I will say that it sounds like it was not TrailManor's fault, and they are committed to getting the job done right.

And yes I meant Memorial Day. How those two weekends are juxtaposed with the school year beginning and end causes me to confuse them at times.
