NHTSA has a "Search by VIN" feature to look for all the recalls on your specific vehicle. The service seems to be down at the moment, but worth checking.

Ouch, look at Honda's numbers of 2.8M. It's almost 2X the combined total of all the other manufactures. That's going to hurt! Lets assume $100 per repair???

Yeah, but with the recent GM nightmares, this just adds more fuel to their recall fire. They should just recall all the rest of their vehicles now, to save time... LOL

Toyota has been kind of busy lately too with recalls. Not counting the "controversial" (real problem or not?) one with the the floormats binding the gas pedal, they now have one out for breaking leaf springs which can pierce the gas tank on thousands of Tacoma models.

Wow, I had not been paying attention. Googled it and OMG 1.7 billion in recalls in for the first 3 quarters.

GM has recalled more vehicles than they have built since being bailed out.
Awesome ROI.

It's good to see that they are supporting the product of the previous GM (GM1). By law they did not have to support GM1 warranty, recalls or product.
