Default Mounting a generator on the back of the TM?

Could one set up and use a small generator on the back of the Trailmanor when camping. It obviously would be under one of the beds if it was on a bumper carrier. Carbon Monoxide issues?
Thanks

Well the vibration might keep you awake. Why not put it on the ground? What are you wanting to run with the gen? The AC? The refrigerator will run on propane and the overhead lights are 12v. Microwave?

Getting out of the Houston area takes two days to anywhere and it is HOT here, so would be running the generator for 45 min -1 hr while parked in a rest stop for lunch and stretch.

Well, you don't have to remind me about our Texas heat in Houston. I'm on the SW side near the Beltway and 59 freeway. I pulled my TM to Sedona AZ so your correct, it's 2 days to get to cooler weather...

I don't see any issues running the gen with your needs at this point. As long as your not sleeping in the TM while the gen is running beneath the bed.

Highpockets,
Most TM air conditioners need 4000 watts to run. So, two Honda or Yamaha 2000 watters together or a true 4000 watt generator. You do want it away from trailer for noise and CO. I think there are other posts about the AC and how much power is needed on the forum. Hope this helps.

A 3000 watt generator will run the AC just fine. Does not need 4k watts. Both Honda and Yamaha make good generators. There are cheaper ones but they tend to be less reliable and noisier. A generator is one purchase where I would view it as an investment and not try to get buy on less.
