Default Greetings from ChalkHill Pa

Just got my new to me 2001 2720sl home on Saturday night. Never having towed a large trailer, I was a little nervous, but, as advertised, the 3 hour drive home was a piece of cake. Even got better gas mileage than anticipated, about 14mpg with my ram 1500 hemi. Been cleaning and sorting out last couple of days and have some problems/questions. Been raining here today and have a leak where the tv antenna cranks. Cranked it up and the leak stopped. Is there a seal that needs replaced? Pinhole water leak in plastic clean water release pipe 1/4 inch above the valve. Water only leaks(squirts out)when there's pressure. Gray water release valve leaks. We hope to take our first camping trip this fall, so any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the group. You will find a wealth of information on this web, and yes you got a great camper!
I had the same leak with the antenna. If you look on the roof you will see where your antenna cable enters the roof. There should be a little boot over the connector which will often ride up the cable. If so, then just take a small plastic tie wrap and put it around the boot and make it tight when in place.

Your water leak is easily repaired as well, if not repaired it will use up your reserve water quicker than you think. Most of the valves are the pex type that has a locking sleeve at the very top of the valve, if enough pipe is exposed you can just cut the pipe (nice straight clean cut please) and if the old valve is okay reuse it, if valve is not ok Lowe's has them for around $10. Both fixes in less than an hour.
Good luck

Joined before I posted. I realize the value here. ChalkHill is in the SW Pa Laurel Highlands. Very near Ohiopyle state park.

Beautiful area. Among other things, that's Frank Lloyd Wright country. We had a thread about Kentuck Knob and Falling Waters not long ago, in the Campgrounds forum.

Yes nice country. I did the bike trail there and some white water rafting.
Lucky you!

My wife worked at Kentuck knob for a while. Just 5 minutes from home. A must see!

Nice bike! My son has a carbon road bike that he custom built around around a Felt frame. Incredible machines. I've got a cyclocross, great for all the rail trails around here.

Welcome from the D.C. Metro Area! We're less than 10 miles from D.C.! I love the Nemacolin resort that is in your area.
