Gene worked every outside job the phone company ever had, for years and years in Wyoming. Me, I'm a wimp. I started working outside in California and only worked cable repair in Wyoming for three years . . .

It was so cold this morning when I left the house at 7:00 that I had to wear a jacket.

41F.

It probably won't get any warmer than 65 today.

I'm going skiing on Friday. The last time I was skiing it was 70 degrees. I had to wear a long sleeve shirt.

The well known high cost of living in California is caused by the weather tax.

I hear you! I always thought I looked like Frankenstein . . . like someone had sewn on my hands because my arms were so white and my hands were so dark.

Here in North Alabama, we are getting ICE and snow about every three days. Many people do not realize that we generally receive a layer of ice with a snowfall. I saw a newscast from New York talking about how unusual it was for them to receive ice and how dangerous it is. Welcome to my world this year.

I am so tired of being cold. I want to go to Miami.
