Fascinating video. In the accompanying article it calls these bodies "minor planets". Seems to me that is a bit of journalistic spin. Many of these things were discovered by the TAOS project. (Taiwan America Occultation Survey).

Don't you think that the term "planetesimals" is more appropriate?

Remember when the Kuiper belt was only a theory based on the nebular theory?
