Anyone name their TM?

Don't know where we heard it, either from our dealer or TM, but every time we set up or take down our 3326, we mumble to ourselves '2 minutes', the time they say your supposed to be able to set up or take down a TM.

If you're talking about closed to open and "airtight", I can do that by myself in 2 minutes or less, so I wouldn't quibble with that number. BUT, this does not include: Position the TM, unhitch, level, put away WDH bars, taking out the microwave, etc. etc. These are the factors that affect any type of trailer, and internal setup is common to any popup. Just getting the shells popped up, flaps closed, and bathroom/wardrobe up? 2 mins is doable, for certain. Closing, too--once all the normal stuff is put away, dropping the bathroom/wardrobe, lifting the flaps, and closing up the shells is certainly a 2 min-or-less proposition.

The two minute timeframe is in comparison to a canvas-sided popup, to show the ease of the Trailmanor system. In this respect, comparing apples to apples, there is no question that the TM comes out ahead. When I look at it (and I do recall hearing that from something somewhere) it's just what I said: closed to open and sealed. That's where the comparison should be, imo.

Then again, I've been popping the shells open a LOT lately, and dropping them closed when I'm done, so I've gotten quite fast at that process

The 11 y.o. son says, "Let's name it Homer", like in home. DH thinks it sounds like Homer from the Simpsons. Not sure yet on this one. Still waiting for the right name. Maybe Homer is not so bad after all...

Ours is "minnie" cause it's a Trailmini. But it's about as small as Minnie Mouse! My car is the "baby beluga" because it's the smallest of the white fleet of cars/trucks at work; I have an ornament of one hanging from the rearview mirror.

We call our TM "Bupkus". Here's why. Everytime my wife buys something I would look at her and say, you get everything I get bupkus. She looked over at me one day and said, your "Bupkus" is sitting in the driveway!

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm leaning towards Homer. Maybe we'll call the Tahoe Marge since it's big and blue, like her hair.

We just calls ours the shell. Like turtles hauling a shell around. Just the way I feel going only 55 down the highway.
