Floating Floor, King Slide version, trimming along slideout tracks?
I'm about to put in a new floating floor on my 2922 King Slide version. All is good, but for one area. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how to trim out the juncture between the new flooring, and the aluminum slideout track in the living room. Any ideas?

There’s a slide-out track? I thought the front box was just on wheels that rolled on the main floor.

On the inside corner of the "living room" (where floor meets side wall) there is an aluminum angle iron. There are three wheels for the slide out. In the middle, the wheel rolls on the floor. On the sides, the wheels roll on the aluminum. (See the blue arrow in the attached picture)

That angle iron is about 1/16" proud from the floor. I'm pretty sure there is plenty of room for an edge treatment of some type to fit ... I'm just not sure what to use!

Sorry, I don't do Google Photos, so I can't sign in to see your photo. But you could post the same photo right here on the Forum, where it can be seen without a password. And it won't disappear when one of the photo sites has a problem. See this post for details.

Yes, there is an aluminum angle iron along the edge where the floor meets the wall, along the "lower" floor. See the blue arrow in the attached photo.

Oh. I think that’s more a wall brace. The rollers are more towards the middle of the slide box. It that that helps you with your flooring question.

Ah! that makes sense. And I think it does help with the Flooring problem. Good thinking! Thanks ... Jay

Not that it matters much in this case, but I think I have to disagree. In all three of my 2720SL (slide) units (2002, 2006, and 2020), I'm pretty sure that the ends of the slide ran on rollers on that aluminum track. The slide is pretty heavy, and the aluminum protects the floor from wear as the slide moves in/out. Again as I recall (its been a long time), there is at least one more roller set into the floor at the very front edge of the floor (the edge nearest the hitch). Once the slide is out, it supports the floor of the slide under the front edge of the couch, and therefore the weight of people on the couch.
I know that TM in Tennessee made some changes to this area, since back in the 2002 time frame there was a problem with the edge of the slider flexing downward under weight. Either they stiffened the edge of the slide, or they added another wheel.
As I recall, you can see all of the wheels by going outside and looking under the front edge of the slide. You may have to lift the slide an inch or so to see under it.
Long ago, Commodor47 posted some pictures that may help clarify.

Very cool. I had only seen the ones mounted to the floor but I guess it would make sense to have a set out on the ends too otherwise the whole box would wobble. I learned something today. Nevermind what I said earlier.

We have a 2006 2720. The aluminum guide tracks are for the rollers on the pull-out.
