Default Wheel Modification and Lift Kit

I own a '01 3023 with square wheel wells after a blowout with some damage to the wheel well I have decided to do the wheel well modification. The PDF file on the here on the TM owner board, the instruction says it is for the 14'' wheels. My question, can I do the wheel well modification, then install the lift kit so I can run 15'' tires? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Marv

I have done exactly that on my 2000 2720sl with no problems.
