Two years ago I purchased a Coleman Powermate 250 psi compressor. It has been more than adequate at maintaining tire pressure for our TM and TV. The compressor is still available. Here is a link to one supplier:

The battery for our TM is located in the rear storage compartment. I found that the 12 volt Coleman Powermate would not easily reach the TM tires (from my TV). To alleviate that problem I purchased a volt adapter from Radio Shack:

The adapter allows me to connect to the TM battery and easily reach the TM tires.

Just a reminder not to plug in the compressor into the socket in the TM that the TV antenna provides...it will blow the fuse. I forgot once.

I use one of those emergency power packs which I keep in the SUV and which is a rechargable battery/jumper cable with built-in 12v compressor - about $50. It's great for inflating the tires (albeit a little slow as all 12v compressors are). It's advantage is that you just carry it to the tire wherever the tire is or whatever it's mounted on - no wires or vehicle/building required nearby to provide power.

Of course it also starts a car with flat battery, and is a general backup power source - it's great when coupled with a inverter when there's a power cut.
