Default Loved that Trailmanor ...

My wife and I recently traded in our 2005 Trailmanor 2027SL for a 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud 26 (Rear Bed Twins). We've had a lot of fun traveling around but some shoulder injuries in the recent past have made another trailer look even sweeter. I've had a great time interacting with the forum (and all you folks) helping me make some major upgrades over the years. I plan on checking in regularly to see what else everyone's up to. Besides, this forum has so much good information that's general to all camping and RVs so I'll keep up my subscription.

Thanks to all!

After fracturing my shoulder in November, I'm kind of hesitant to go camping as well. DH can open and close it by himself but it's easier with two people.

Default Sorry about your shoulder ...

... and I'm wishing you equally good times with the new setup.

I loved working with you on the Solar and electrical stuff! That's a dreamy new pickup truck! (I'm definitely jealous.)

In 2015 we sold our Trailmamor and bought a Lance travel trailer. What a difference having a walk around bed and a bathroom you can use while traveling.
We really liked our Trailmanor, but love our Lance. It's been to Alaska and back. Thinking about going back in 2023.

Make sure you seal your front window at least every other year....They are prone to leaking.

I wondered about those front windows on the Lance. I was considering a Lance 1475 back in 2017, but decided to gut and remodel my TM instead. I loved the 1475 - exactly what I wanted in a trailer - no dinette, separate fridge/freezer, full bath, short length... I liked that front window on the Lance model I was looking at, but it did indeed look like a potential leak waiting to happen...

I loved my 2005 TM. Sold in when my wife was going thru menopause. It was like being in a locked box with a bobcat.

We now have a Casita.
