Window Unit A/C Replacement

Might need to replace our window unit A/C in our 1999 2720 SL, but so far have not found any 10,000 BTU or larger units that will fit opening. Has anyone replaced their window unit A/C recently. If so what brand and model.
Current unit size is 20 W X 12 1/2 H X 19 1/4 D
I can't go any larger except maybe a 1/2 inch on D.

I replaced mine in 2009 without too much trouble.

The unit I used was

Unit Dimensions:
20 3/32"w, 13 7/8"h, 19 3/8"d.

This exact unit I don't think is made any more but hopefully you can find something similar. Please post if you do because I will probably have to replace this again in the future.

In addition to Bill's very good experience, you might do a Search on posts on the topic of replacing the air conditioner by HarveyRV. He started a long and very detailed thread recommending new units, how to place the sheet metal ducts, how to dfasten it down, and so forth.
